The value for money at this cottage was exceptional. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and had thoughtful touches like milk, bread, and toiletries provided. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful countryside ambiance with easy access to the main road. The communication from the owner was excellent, and they were welcoming and nearby if we needed anything.
The breakfast option could be improved with quieter single beds in the second bedroom, especially the one by the window.

I felt like a queen with a private garden and parking fit for a royal entourage. The cottage had a fancy washing machine, and I even had my own entrance. Towels were provided, spoiling me even more.
Oh, how I missed the feature of being swarmed by flies around the cottage door. Such a delightful irritation.

The cottage exceeded our expectations during our Christmas stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was spacious and well-equipped, with thoughtful extras like milk, bread, and toiletries. The location in the peaceful countryside was perfect, and having easy access to the main road made getting around a breeze. The communication with the owner was excellent, and their warm welcome made us feel right at home. Plus, waking up to the beautiful countryside, birdsong, and the nearby dairy herd was a delightful experience.
While our stay was wonderful overall, we did encounter a minor annoyance with a few flies around the cottage door. Spending some time swatting them inside the cottage was a minor irritation, but it didn't detract from our otherwise enjoyable stay.
